1965 Mustang Convertible

After 33 years of ownership the current owner is looking to find the next caretaker for this 1965 Mustang. Originally, this 6 cylinder 200ci, 3 speed manual Mustang was finished in wimbledon white exterior along with a white top and red vinyl interior and equipped with air conditioning when new. It spent its early life in Waterloo, IA, At some point it was painted “Corvette Red” and was brought to Naperville, IL by its current owner in 1988. Soon after the air conditioner was removed and is no longer with the car.
There is a stack of repair work and maintenance receipts dating back to the late eighties/early ninety’s. Upon inspection there are a few small dings in the paintwork. Looking underneath the body is quite solid with the exception of the outer edges of the floor pan, these look to have been treated but not repaired. Most recently the brake master cylinder was replaced and the brakes were bled in 2020. This Mustang runs drives and stops, it is used sparingly for in town trips when the weather suits top down driving.
